Dalmation Toadflax Biocontrol Video
| Marvin Hanks looks for and finds a beetle in the family Curculionidae. It is a weevil. He notes that this beetle has been researched in its native land and put in quarantine to be host specific on Dalmation Toadflax before it was approved for release in the United States as a biocontrol agent on this weed. So far they have been doing really good. Marvin notes that two of the beetles are mating. He goes on to say that the beetles have been on the plant at the center for three years and so far they have collected off of these plants and redistributed new releases on other locations of Dalmation Toadflax throughout the area.
